PERFORMED AT NAIROBI WEST HOSPITAL

According to Prof. Andrew Kanyi, the Chief Medical
Officer of the facility, the treatment was successfully
completed on a 55-year-old patient suffering from
multiple myeloma.
“Nairobi West is the first ever institution in Kenya to
start bone marrow transplant, we have successfully
done a procedure and the patient is recuperating
well,” Dr. Kanyi told the media.
